India's Nationwide Lightning Problem

Although extreme weather events are common in India, that doesn’t mean they aren’t dangerous. In fact, 25% of all accidental deaths throughout the country are due to the weather. While flooding and droughts cause many deaths, no weather event is as impactful as lightning. India is extremely vulnerable to lightning strikes for three main reasons:

Lightning alert systems are the answer to India’s lightning problem. A lightning alert system is an advanced, automatic alerting system consisting of horn, strobe, text, email, and/or visual alerts that prompt people to get to safety and secure property before dangerous weather conditions arrive.
