We all check the weather, it is a daily routine for most people. But in this technological age with access to mobile apps, TV channels, websites, and radio; there are just so many ways to get an update on the weather. So why do we choose any one way over the other?
We decided to try and find answers. We surveyed over 3,000 respondents who look at weather information frequently. Our goal was to help broadcast stations better understand weather information consumers and optimize their content to retain and gain viewers.
