Jeff Mayerczak is the Director of Product Management for Earth Networks. In this role, Jeff oversees development of the Sferic Maps software its companion mobile application. Jeff also led the product team that developed Sferic Connect, the latest enterprise mobile application from Earth Networks. Sferic Connect makes it easy for organizations to distribute weather information to employees on the go, ensure compliance with weather safety policies, and keep teams updated in real-time of local weather conditions to help coordinate emergency response plans.
Jeff brings over 15 years of B2B and B2C product management leadership with experience in mobile, digital commerce platforms and digital media at both start-up and Fortune 500 companies. Prior to Earth Networks, he led the guest self-service product line at StayNTouch - a start-up Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) hotel property management company with major clients including MGM and Great Wolf. He spent the previous 4 years at Research In Motion (Blackberry) improving their app store platform and to attract app developers and better compete against Apple and Google.
He previously served as VP, Product Management at Cellmania (acquired by BlackBerry in 2010 for $80M) and Head of Product at Kajeet - a national kid friendly pre-paid mobile service. In 2004, Jeff launched Nextel’s equivalent of an 'app store' and grew content revenues from $2 to $80M in under three years. He spent his early years at GE Information Services - which operated a global network and software platform uniting buyers and sellers.
