Congratulations! Your organization is now connected to an international science and education program that provides students and the public worldwide with the opportunity to participate in data collection and the scientific process while contributing meaningfully to our understanding of Earth and the global environment.
How to get started with GLOBE:
Your Earth Networks Weather Station will be connected directly to GLOBE by your Customer Success Agent after installation and configuration is complete.
- Provide your Customer Success Agent with a primary point of contact for the program.
- Complete the training to become a GLOBE certified teacher online by visiting here.
Teacher Training
All GLOBE users must complete GLOBE teacher training before using resources or contributing data. Teachers will need to complete three modules, including assessment tests. The modules include: Introduction to GLOBE, introduction to a “sphere” (we recommend choosing the Introduction to Atmosphere “sphere” module), and a “protocol” module(we recommend choosing one of the Atmosphere “protocol” modules). Assessment tests are generally 10-20 questions. Training is generally completed in a few hours. More information about GLOBE Online eTraining is available here.
