Getting Started
You will receive an email with your tracking number once your equipment ships. Your installation team will help you to configure the system properly upon install. Please refer to the link in your getting started email labeled Installation/Maintenance for important installation preparation steps.
You may log in to the Portal prior to the completion of the installation of your system and check it out, but the team onsite will assist and can help answer any questions as well. Please save the log-in information provided to you as the Portal provides highly valuable information about your system like Last Alert Activation and Last Communication. You can update your system’s settings as needed by logging in to the Portal.

Your username and password are provided to you by your Customer Success Agent.

The configuration that will need to be completed upon installation of your system includes:
- Setting your Hours of Operation
- Lightning Strike Distance
- Alert Duration
- Location - Latitude/Longitude (Lat/Lon)
You will add email addresses for email delivery of alerts based on your horn alert settings – setting up these emails is very important, so please be sure to complete this step upon installation of your system – see the ‘Email Alerts Recipients’ section of the Portal. You can add up to 10 email addresses per location.
You will also add email addresses for Informer’s connectivity status – see the ‘Informer Up/Down Email Recipients’ section of the Portal. You can add up to 5 email addresses per location for these notifications. Log-in information specific to your location(s) is provided by your Customer Success Agent.
Community Awareness
Sferic Siren Widget
Once your Sferic Siren is online and operational, you will want to take full advantage of your Sferic Siren Widget. The Widget will provide you with easy access to the Countdown Clock feature of the above Portal. Your Widget URL and code are also provided by your Customer Success Agent so that you may integrate it into your existing website.

Sferic Siren Press Release and Signage
If you would like assistance with briefing your community on the new addition of your Sferic Siren, we have a press release kit, which includes a community email template, that we are happy to provide.
You may also receive 2 complimentary metal signs to place on your facility grounds that explain the Sferic Siren alert sounds. If you are interested in the Press Release Kit or Signage, please let your Customer Success Agent know.
